He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert A. Sr. Root and Judith Root (Byers); his sister Trudy McEwen; and his niece Tonya. He is survived by: his wife Carissa Root (Kinney); his son Dominic; his siblings, Chester Root (Sally), Becky Peterson (Ron) and Jody Brazeal (Derek); and his parents-in-law, Marlene and Charles Kinney. He is also survived by three sisters-in-law, as well as many nieces and nephews.
