He is survived by: his children, Deborah Nelligan of Sanatoga Pa, Josephine Glass (Robert) of East Norriton, Charlotte Schlosman (Barry) of Enola, Thomas Jr. (Sally) of Lebanon, David Sr. (Katherine) of Norristown Pa, Christopher Sr. (Lucy) of Altoona and Matthew (Leticia) of Pooler; his grandsons, David Nelligan Jr. and Jason Nelligan; and his great grandchildren, Kimberly Nelligan, Zachary Gerhard and Thomas W. Nelligan. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild child.
