Sharon H. Bender Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon H. Bender of Salunga, Pennsylvania, born in Ashland, Ohio, who passed away on December 19, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerite Helbert (Markley) and Charles Helbert. She is survived by: her husband Gary; her daughters, Wendy Brister (Brian) of Wrightsville, PA and Susan Bender (Brian) of Newark, DE; her granddaughter Emma Brister; and her siblings, Laura Luhring (Karl) of West Salem, OH, Benton Helbert (Jeanie) of Wooster, OH, Kathryn Heerkens (Don) of Cape Vincent, NY, Rebecca Petersen (Gary) of Huron, OH and Phillip Helbert of Jeromesville, OH. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life services will be held at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
