She was predeceased by: her parents, Enos Weaver and Kathleen Zinn Weaver Ginder; and her stepfather Earl M. Ginder. She is survived by: her husband John H. Mowery, Jr.; her sister Margaret McBride (Peggy); her daughter Maria Gibson (Mark); and her grandchildren, Tim Mowery (Rosie), John Mowery (Wendy), Lisa Polonchak (Carl), Tom Mowery, Linda Craul (Darwin), Mary Mowery, Joe Mowery (Allyson), Tony Mowery (Candace) and Jason Mowery (Stephanie). She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
