With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl L. Derr of Salunga, Pennsylvania, born in Florin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 18, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Earl leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Derr and Carrie Derr (Flowers); and his wife Grace E. Derr (Weaver). He is survived by: his children, Earl L. Derr, Jr. (Norma) of Dayton, OH, Robert L. Derr (Barbara) of Manning, SC, Yvonne G. Baughman of Bainbridge and Pamela Derr-Crawford (Paul Crawford) of Mount Joy; and his brother Harold Derr. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren.
