He was predeceased by: his parents, Benny Zanavich and Mary Furman Zanavich; his wife Donna Jean Sampsell Zanavich; his son Frank Zanavich; and his sisters, Benay Parson and Mary Ann Gyenes.
He is survived by: his pets, Thor and Tank; his children, Bernie Andrew Zanavich II of Saltsburg, Karen Gould (Paul) of Saltsburg, John Zanavich of Tinsmill and Sonya Zanavich (Jason Hoffman) of Baltimore, MD; and his grandchildren, Justin Gould of Saltsburg and Brittany Gould of Johnstown.
