It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Marie Celmer of Salix, Pennsylvania, born in Beaverdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter L. Peron and Anna C. Peron (Yope); her husband Walter L.; her sister Patricia "Patsy" Afton; her brothers-in-law, Alex Afton and Albert "Butch" Puto; and her niece Teresa "Terri" Afton Costanzo.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly (Mark Hull), Pamela (Matthew Thomas), Lawrence, Salix and Nancy (Michael Selepak); her granddaughter Paula (Andrew Halbach); her great grandchildren, Nathan and Owen Halbach; and her sisters, Doris Lee Stupi (George) and Joanne Puto.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Beaverdale Public Library, McCullough Place Resident Fund, and the Mary and Joseph Society of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
