She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hoffman and Virginia Hoffman (Barefoot); and her sister Norma Rice. She is survived by: her husband Charles Fern; her daughter Cindy Mattingly; her grandsons, Brendan Mattingly (Alexa) and Jesse Mattingly; her great grandchildren, Ameera and Riley; and her brother Roy "Butch" Hoffman (Janet). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
