He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Metheney and Anna Metheney (Skinner); and his wife Marlene Dorothy Metheney (Harbaugh). He is survived by: his sons, Roger Dean Metheney, Jr. (Deanne), Richard D. Metheney (Holly), Robert D. Metheney (Kathy), David M. Metheney (Beverly) and Kelly M. Metheney (Brandy); his stepchildren, Rex Phillips and Cassie Carolselli; his daughters-in-law, Elizabeth Metheney and Kimberly Metheney; his siblings, Regis Metheney and Velda Charlesworth; his grandchildren, Casey, Jasmine, Misty, Richard II, Jesse, Zack, Zeke, Dalton, Noah, Harry of Bowen, TJ, Terry and Jessica; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Eli, Gabi, Tatum, Liam and Owen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc. (9168 Mason Dixon Hwy, Salisbury, PA 15558). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
