He was predeceased by: his parents, Darius Herald Broadwater and Ethel Stark (Broadwater); his son Robert Broadwater; and his siblings, Mildred Broadwater and Forrest Broadwater.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Broadwater (Pritts); his daughter Patricia Marie Snelson; and his grandchildren, Bobby Cummins, Billy Cummins, Kelly Cowher (Shane) of Tyrone, PA and Gregory Bobick.
