He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Bender and Barbara Bender (Miller); his wife Ellie B. Bender (Yoder); and his daughter Katie Yoder (Bender). He is survived by: his children, Barbara Ann (Olen Peachey) of Jamestown, PA, Edna (John L. Yoder), Leah, David (Phoebe Hostetler) of Meyersdale, PA, Susan (Andrew Beiler), Samuel (Freda Yoder), Elijah (Melinda Yoder) of Oakland, MD, Daniel (Deborah Graber) of Pittsford, MI and Isaiah (Rosa Graber) of Osseo, MI; his son-in-law Clarence Yoder (Effie Peachey); and his stepmother Amanda Summy (Zook-Bender) of Grantsville, MD. He is also survived by 59 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Niverton Amish Church (250 Niverton Rd, Salisbury, PA 15558).
