He was predeceased by: his parents, Resley Tressler and Florence Tressler (Briskey); his siblings, Resley, Jr., Duane, Brad, Marvin "Chuck", Mark, Abraham, Jackie Tressler, Violet Hovatter, Beulah Maust, Evelyn Doerr and Rita Hollada; and his grandson Michael Tressler.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Louise Tressler (Ringler); his children, Michael K. Tressler (Kathy) of Port Charlotte, FL, Melanie L. Hoover (Jerry) of Fort Hill, PA and Melissa D. George (John) of Salisbury, PA; his sister Marvette Hollada; and his grandchildren, Shawn, Jeremy, Jesse Hoover, Resley, Seth and Lance Tressler. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
