She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Schardt and Viola Schardt (Putman); her husband John Henry Zimmerman; her son Larry Zimmerman; and her siblings, Verda Musser, Audrey Hillegas, Shirley Newman, William Schardt, Gordon Schardt and James Schardt.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Zimmerman (Jenny Fiscus) and Donna Broadwater (James) of Edenton, NC; and her daughter-in-law RoseAnn Zimmerman of LaVale, MD. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
