He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Sword (Rockwell); his children, Sandra Cordell (Richard), James Sword Jr. (Peg), Jeffrey Sword (Ginger) and Gerald Sword (Robin); his stepchildren, Lita Kuhns (Tim) and Jason Peck (Carrie Chilcote); his grandchildren, Tara, Ashlea, Jamie of Wesley, J. D. and Nick; his stepgrandchildren, Genevieve, Levi, Jordan and Katie; and his great grandchildren, Brycen, Sophia, Camilla, Xavier, Alijah, Fernando, Ayden, Riley, Ava and Eli.
