He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Ross and Pauline Katherine Fittery Bard; his sons, Michael and Matthew; and his son-in-law William Quivers, II.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Ann Forsythe Bard; his children, Jennifer L. Bard (Angel J. Martez), Jason M. Bard (Andrea) of Martinsburg and Jessica R. Blacker (Timothy, Jr.) of Chambersburg; his grandchildren, Gabriel, Cara, Catelyn, Abram, Auna, Kinsley, Avin and Ava; and his brother-in-law William Forsythe (Pam). He is also survived by twenty-six nieces and nephews.
