It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Silvis of Saint Petersburg, Pennsylvania, born in Butler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 15, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Ronald McCanna of Rimersburg, PA. She is survived by: her mother Sally McCanna (Mortimer) of Rimersburg; her sons, Nate Silvis (Shawn) of Charlotte, NC. and Bret Silvis of Kansas City, MO.; her siblings, Victoria Wolbert (Duane) of Crown and Brent McCanna of Rimersburg; her nieces, Andrea Guntrum (Michael) of Clarion, Fontaine Shirey (Kurtis) of Curllsville, Rozina and Shavon McCanna of East Brady; her nephew Braden McCanna of East Brady; her grandchild Ryann Silvis of Charlotte, NC.; and her great-nephews, Finn and Kyle Shirey of Curllsville. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
