He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Peairs and Verne Osborne Peairs; and his siblings, Cecil Peairs (Ruth), Madlyn Oneill (Bill) and Lorraine Nicholls (Delmar).
He is survived by: his wife Susan Short Peairs; his children, Dr. Randall Peairs (Mary Clair), Scott Peairs (Paula) and Dr. Kimberly Peairs (Landon King); his grandchildren, Emily, Harrison Peairs, Eric, Doug, Aidan Peairs, Andrew and Margaret King; his nieces, Yvonne Montgomery, Sandra Reese and Sherry Oneill; his son Major Steven Spiker (Christina); and his grandchildren, Ben and Heath.
