He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Rakestraw Hayes and Josephine Gaylor Hayes; and his brother Dr. John R. Hayes. He is survived by: his daughters, Carrie Hayes Schuliger, Wendy Lee Gladstone and Maurie Hayes Thompson; his sons-in-law, Jeff Schuliger of North Vancouver, British Columbia, Trent Gladstone of Marriottsville and Christian Thompson of Flagstaff, Arizona.; his grandchildren, Abby, Anna, Jeremy, Madeline, Brett, Rachel, Tyler, Alex, Chase, Nathan, Ellie, Leah and Peter; and his great grandchild Woody. He is also survived by his wife and three daughters.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Evangelical Presbyterian Church (217 Washington St, St Marys, PA 15857).
