He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Schauer and Marcella Lecker Schauer; and his brother Robert Schauer. He is survived by: his wife Aletha Harrison Schauer; his children, Cynthia Labant (Joseph) of St. Marys, Kevin Schauer (Mary Ann Ault) of South Park, PA and Glenn Schauer (Bonnie) of DuBois; and his grandchildren, Christine Schauer, Adam Schauer, Jenna Melusky (Gage) and Steven Labant (Skylar Yanochko).
