She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pontious and Violet Kline Pontious; her husband Clarence F. "Boy" Vollmer; her daughter Sharon Sorg; her brother George Pontious; and her pet Daisy.
She is survived by: her children, Lucinda Uncapher (Marvin) of Blairsville, PA, June Sienko (David) of Hallstead, PA, Barbara Glatt (Sam) of St. Marys and John F. Vollmer (Sharon) of St. Marys; her son-in-law Daniel Sorg of St. Marys; and her parents-in-law, Esther Herzing of St. Marys, Donald Vollmer of St. Marys, Patricia Vollmer of Kersey and Nadine "Dina" Pontious of Johnsonburg. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
