He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcellus "Dutch" and Rose Gerg (Arnold); and his brother-in-law John Fernan. He is survived by: his former wife Marjorie Gerg (Fernan); his wife Marge; his children, Ann Gerg and Bill Gerg of St Marys; his brother Ken Gerg (Joanne) of Emporium; and his siblings-in-law, Molly Fernan, Bill Fernan (Susan) of Ridgway and Kay Brocki (John) of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
