She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Hanes and Loretta Haberberger Hanes; and her brother James Hanes. She is survived by: her children, Linda Carpin of St. Marys and James Carpin of St. Marys; and her grandchildren, Cruz Carpin, Dakota Carpin (Khanh), James Carpin, Jr., Amber Carpin, Alix Carpin and Aubrey Carpin. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
