It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scott A. Penfield (Saint Marys, Pennsylvania), born in Ridgway, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Penfield and Donna Johnson Penfield; his wife Suzanne Herbstritt Penfield; his sons, Allen Penfield (Laura) of St. Marys and Scott Penfield (Shannon) of St. Marys; his grandchildren, Harley, Corbin, Sean, LaShea and Rhianna; his siblings, James Penfield, Jr. of Hallton, Mariel Bolles (Chip) of Kersey, Lisa Luchini of Munson and Pat Penfield (Marlene) of Johnsonburg; his mother-in-law Helen Herbstritt; his brother Craig "Nip" Penfield; and his father-in-law Joseph "Buzzy" Herbstritt. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Center.
