He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Wingard and Alma Hidinger Wingard; his wife Phyllis Anna Wolfe; his daughter Rose Moore; and his great grandchild Thea Wingard.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Wingard (Mary) of St. Marys, Donald Wingard (Cindy) of Marion Center, William Wingard (Tammy) of St. Marys, Edward Wingard (Julie) of Powell, Larry Wingard (Jean) of St. Marys, George Wingard (Martha) of St. Marys, Joseph Wingard (Mary Jane) of St. Marys, Mary Ann Bush (Dennis) of St. Marys and Marguerite Hanes (Jason) of St. Marys; his son-in-law James Moore of Emporium; his brothers, Reynolds Wingard of Warren and Russell Wingard of Warren; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Wingard of Warren and Patricia Wolfe of St. Marys. He is also survived by his 31 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
