He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Buttery and Florence Allinger Buttery; his wife Marguerite Moyer Buttery; his son Craig Buttery; and his siblings, Arthur, Donald Buttery and Doris Ehrensberger.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Uhl (Cameron) of Kersey and Clyde Buttery (Elaine) of St. Marys; his daughter-in-law Immy Buttery Newell of Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Michelle, Jeffery, Stephen, Bryan, Joshua, Jessica and Brandon; and his close friend Kathryn Distler of St. Marys. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Elk Haven Activities Fund or to the Christian Food Bank.
