It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy L. Engelberg (Saint Marys, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 26, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Distler and Catherine Wildnauer Distler; her husband Siegfried J. Engelberg; her brothers, Paul Distler and Walter Distler; her sisters-in-law, Gerta Squires and Hilda Walker; and her nephews, Todd Distler and Rick Stauffer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Mattivi (Anthony) and Amy Dietz (Gary); her sister Carol Stauffer (Lee); and her siblings-in-law, Carol Distler, Kay Distler, Martin Engelberg (Judy) and Peter Engelberg (Rita). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Queen of the World Church (134 Queens Rd, St Marys, PA 15857). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
