He was predeceased by: his parents, Merl A. Dent, Sr. and Pearl Daily Dent; and his siblings, Lyle Dent and Venice Blazejwski. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Brown Dent; his sons, Raymond Dent, Sr. (Stacy) of St. Marys and Darwin Dent of Coudersport; his grandchildren, Raymond Dent, Jr. and Miranda Black; and his siblings, June Prouty, Marrian Bart and Michael Dent.
