Maurice Wendel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maurice Wendel (Saint Marys, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 11, 2018 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wendel and Anna Hoffman Wendel; and his brother Harold "Fatty" Wendel. He is survived by: his spouse Vera J. Herbstritt; his children, Sharon Kintz (Dwayne) of New Alexandria, PA, Sandi Bailey of St. Marys, Janet Schatz (Charles), Wayne Wendel (Mary) and Thomas Wendel (Karen); and his sister Grace Wendel of St. Marys. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Queen of the World Church, the Historical Society, or to the Community Nurses.
