She was predeceased by: her parents, Santo Firetto and Carmela Amari Firetto; and also Thomas J. Valeri Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Thomas J. Valeri Jr.; her mother-in-law Gloria Valeri; her close friend Spring Again; her sister Francine; and her brother-in-law Richard Labella.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel (1799 Klockner Rd, Hamilton Township, NJ 08619). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Ewing Church Cemetery (100 Scotch Rd, Ewing Township, NJ 08628).
Maryellen was a dedicated supporter of numerous charitable organizations, including the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, Habitat for Humanity, and the Standardbred Retirement Foundation, embodying a spirit of compassion and generosity throughout her life.
