She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Santaniello and Margaret Solomon Santaniello; her husband Earl C. "Snuffy" Nicklas; her grandson Brandon Nicklas; and her siblings, Tony Santaniello, Andrew Santaniello, Jr., Ann Struble, Kathy Wilson, Betsy McClain, Valerie Santaniello and Theresa Bauer.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Nicklas (Loretta) of Ridgway, Julie Bish (Rick) of St. Marys, Christine Bennett (Roger), Leslie Sporner (Mark) of St. Marys, Mark Nicklas (Veronique) and Wesley Nicklas (Lela); and her sisters, Cecilia Weaver, Dolores Lindgren (Bruce) of Johnsonburg and Rita Gahr of St. Marys. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
