It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Young (Saint Marys, Pennsylvania), born in Lackawanna, New York, who passed away on April 21, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Jerry L.; her son-in-law Thomas Trask; and her siblings, Jerry "Bud" Reed, Dolores Kitchen and Patricia Reed.
She is survived by: her parent Dorothy M. Buerk Reed; her spouse James T. Young I; her children, Patricia Ditson (Jessie) of Johnstown, Gretchen Trask of St. Marys, Michael Young (Dianne) of St. Marys and James Young, II; her wife Christine of Weedville; her grandchildren, Marie Arnold, Nick Arnold (Anne), Michael "Devin" Young (Stephanie), Emily Baker (Jamie), Anna Bish (David), Caleb Young, Jarod Young and Cole Young; her great grandchildren, Caiden Baker, Adrian Bish (Alex Klender), Olivia Young, Natalynn Young, Joshua Baker and Molly Jo Bish; her siblings, Bruce Reed (Peggy) of Ridgefield, WA, Glenn "Bob" Reed (Alice) of Dunkirk, NY, Donald "Stretch" Reed (Kim), David Reed (Lori), Dorothy Kunkle of St. Marys, Judy Schrubb (Don) of Weedville, Lois Dolan (Dan) of Bluffton, NC and Donna Grainer (Terry) of Addis, LA; her siblings-in-law, Mary Bauer and Anthony Young (Jane); and her uncle Chris Buerk (Shirley) of St. Marys. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
