She was predeceased by: her parents, George Alberstadt and Martha Huster Alberstadt; her husband Carl S. Nowak; and her siblings, George Jr., Richard, Robert, Dr. Norbert, John Alberstadt, Dolores, Marie, Rita Alberstadt and Marjorie Kindrick.
She is survived by: her children, Mark A. Nowak of Cambridge Springs, Martha Adamczyk (Gerard) of Erie, Dennis C. Nowak of Erie, Denise Allen (Nelson) of Forest Hill, MD, Craig S. Nowak of Baltimore, MD and Scott P. Nowak (Vicki) of Erie; and her grandchildren, Christopher Allen (Kate), Michael Adamczyk, Samantha Allen, Kelsie Fratus, Kirsten Wellman and Linden Hoover. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
