It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Herbstritt of Saint Marys, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 28, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Herbstritt and Marcella Leithner Herbstritt; his son Donald Herbstritt; and his brother John "Jack" Herbstritt. He is survived by: his wife Helen Greenthaner Herbstritt; his children, George Herbstritt of St. Marys, Edward Herbstritt (Missy) of St. Marys, Deb Erich of Toby, Suzanne Penfield (Scott) of St. Marys and Betsy Schreiber (Bob) of St. Marys; his grandchildren, Jason (Jess), Amanda, Megan (Eric), Jacinda (Joel), Logan, Austin, Allen (Laura), Alex (Andrea) and Timothy; and his sister Helen Salter (Kenneth) of St. Marys. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
