He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bauer and Eleanor Nissel Bauer; and his siblings, Lorraine Wolfel, Dorothy Heigel, Grace Richards, Harold Bauer, Clarence "Lefty" Bauer and Floyd Bauer.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Hacherl; his children, Carla Schneider (Dan) of St. Marys, Pamela Keeley (Don) of Emmaus, PA and Craig Bauer (Janet) of Murrysville, PA; his grandchildren, Nathan Bauer (Sarah), Kevin Bauer (Hannah), Jason Bauer (Caitlin), Carson Bauer, Kyle Schneider (Megan), Nicole Hansen (Bryan) and Zachary Keeley; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Melina, Adelaine and Blake; and his brother George Bauer of St. Marys. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home (169 Center St, St Marys, PA 15857). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church. A burial will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
