He was predeceased by: his son Roy Kronenwetter; and his father Michael "Mitch" Kronenwetter. He is survived by: his brothers, David Kronenwetter (Rose Ann) of Kersey and Jim Kronenwetter (Rose Ann) of Kersey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
