He is survived by: his spouse Christine Grooms; his daughters, Karen Smith (Chris) of St. Marys, Nancy Shade (Thomas) of DuBois and Joann Bonfordin (David) of St. Marys; his grandchildren, Craig Smith (Amy), Rachael Neff (Chris), Paul Shade (Anita), Kody Bonfordin and Kayla Bonfordin (MicKayla); his great grandchildren, Chauntele Billock, Nathanial Smith, Zora Neff, Issac Shade and Elias Shade; and his brother Donald "Pepper" Proesl (Connie) of Florida.
