It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Ackley (Saint Marys, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 27, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James R. Ackley to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Ackley and Antoinette Sweener Ackley; and his siblings, Rita Stauffer, Shirley Carnovale and Robert Ackley.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Miles; and his children, Cynthia A. Herzing (Jeff) of St. Marys, Brenda L. Mohney (Tim) of St. Marys, Annette M. Meyer (Ron) of St. Marys, Stephen J. Ackley (Lisa) of Laurinburg, NC, Ronald E. Ackley (Dawn Cheatle) of Kersey and Martin P. Ackley (Chris) of Kersey. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
