He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted "The Colonel" Challingsworth and Mary Ann Doughery Challingsworth; and his sister Mary Ann Winkleman. He is survived by: his wife Roxe Anne Himes Challingsworth; his children, Missy Pistner (Dan) of Kersey, Dan Challingsworth (Julie) of Jamestown, NY, James Challingsworth (Samantha) of St. Marys, David Challingsworth (Julie) of St. Marys and Fred Challingsworth (Greta) of Ridgway; his grandchildren, Dustin, Sasha of Evan, DJ, Emiley, Logan, Damian, Lindsey, Alexia and Meghann; his stepgranddaughters, Allison and Courteney; and his siblings, Joe Challingsworth of Ridgway, Jack Challingsworth of Florida, Brad Challingsworth of Florida, Christine Johnson of Maryland and Cathy Garcia of Coalport. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
