She was predeceased by: her father Merle Herbstritt; her brothers, John "Jack" Herbstritt and Joseph "Buzzy" Herbstritt; her grandson Jesse Johnston; and her son-in-law Chuck Johnston.
She is survived by: her mother Marcella Leightner Herbstritt; her husband Ken; her children, Tim Salter (Patty) of St. Marys, Pam Johnston of St. Marys and Luke Salter (Missy) of St. Marys; and her grandchildren, Tara Hnath (Tony), Shane Johnston (Angela), Kenny Salter (Tristin) and Shelbi Salter (Alex Dykes). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
