With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald E. Brennen Jr. (Saint Marys, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 13, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Brennen, and Edna Wolfel Brennen, Sr.; his grandson Matthew; and his siblings, Nancy Mehalko and Roger Brennen.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel "Ann" Ford; his daughters, Suzanne Wortman (Ken) of Chapel Hill, NC, Jennifer Brennen of Nashville, TN, Kathleen Brennen (Matthias Koenig) of Virginia Beach, VA and Melissa Spacek (Philip John) of Chapel Hill, NC; his grandchildren, Zachary, Isaac, Devin, Rachel, Oliver, Alexander, Braedon and Harlow; his great grandchild Zion Wortman; his siblings, Donna Weed (Lynn) of Ohio, David Brennen (Yaeko) of Florida and Llewelyn "Lew" Brennen (Suzan) of South Carolina; and his sisters-in-law, Linnea Schaut (Fred) of Aspers, PA and Betty Brennen of St. Marys. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (337 Center St, St Marys, PA 15857). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (604 Joseph St, St Marys, PA 15857).
