She was predeceased by: her parents, Roman Wendel and Bertha Eckert Wendel; her husband Gerard Friedl; her sister Rita Mae Simbeck; and her brothers-in-law, Harold Simbeck, Andrew Grazioli and Tom Nissel.
She is survived by: her siblings, James Wendel (Judy) of St. Marys, Richard Wendel of Virginia, Arlene Wehler of St. Marys, Phyllis Grazioli of Kersey, Diane Nissel of St. Marys and Ruthalene Zimmett (Jude) of St. Marys; her nieces, Gwyn Lenox of Kersey and Jane Bennett of St. Marys; and her brother-in-law Francis Friedl.
