She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Bankovich and Loretta Wehler Bankovich; her husband Albert Kirkland; her children, Brian, Ronald, Kenneth, Eugene and Linda; and her siblings, Leander "Pint" Bankovich, Jerome "Beezie" Bankovich, Norman "Normie" Bankovich, Helen "Mutchie" Wendel, Marian Viglione and Alice Schade.
She is survived by: her sister Marcella "Sally" Stanisch of St. Marys. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law.
