She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Michaels and Lois Clark Michaels; her children, Gregory Carlson and Beth Ann Gornati; and her siblings, Robert Michaels, Walter "Mike" Michaels and Marian Frontino.
She is survived by: her husband Ken; her children, Cynthia Calcagno (John) of Bradford, Michelle "Shelly" Frontino (Joe) of Bradford, Suzanne "Suzy" Carlson of St. Marys, Shawn Carlson (Laura) of St. Marys, Jeffrey Carlson (Jill) of St. Marys and Kerry Vollmer (Dave) of St. Marys; and her son-in-law Ray Gornati of St. Marys. She is also survived by grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Dorothy's love of animals, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Elk County Humane Society or to the Alzheimer's Association.
