She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bean and Emma Irene Schoolmaster Bean; her husband Milton A. "Beak" Schatz; her children, Gloria Schatz and Mark A. Schatz; and her brother John Bean.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Orsich (Andrew) of St. Marys, Diane White (Michael) of Wala Wala, WA, John C. Schatz (Linda) of Emporium and Jeffrey A. Schatz (Karen) of St. Marys. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
