He is survived by: his parent Nelda Stegomoellar Kunkel; his spouse Susan L. Ames; his son William J.; his wife Melissa Jo Kunkel (DeLullo) of St. Marys; his siblings, Joann Cooper of Hobbs, NM, Fay McKay (Jim) of Allen, TX, Janice French and Wayne Kunkel (Carole) of Idaho; and his mother-in-law Geraldine F. Ames of St. Marys.
