He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Thorwart and Marie Young Thorwart; his wife Lois A. Schreiber; and his siblings, Patricia Weichman, Leander, John, Robert and Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Auman (Tom) of St. Marys, Michelle Mannino (Joe) of Warriors Mark, PA, Michael J. Thorwart (Teresa) of Holland, PA and Joseph D. Thorwart (Deanna) of St. Marys; his grandchildren, Kylie Centore (Vincent), Samantha Thorwart, Michael Thorwart, Daniel Thorwart, Zachary Thorwart, Noah Thorwart and Riley Mannino; his great grandchild Enzo Centore; his siblings, Mary Jane Pontious of St. Marys, Linda Osborne (Jim) of Sharon, PA and Steve Thorwart (Linda) of St. Marys; and his siblings-in-law, Jane of St. Marys, Bernie Thorwart of St. Marys and James Weichman of St. Marys. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
