With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Eugene Bowlby of Saint Marys, Pennsylvania, born in Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 4, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Benton Bowlby and Esther Ann Dickey Bowlby; his wife Joan Catherine Murphy; his siblings, William Bowlby and Charlotte Bowlby Henry; and his nephew Richard Bowlby.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah George (Daniel), Karen Nasca (Michael) and Mary Breckur; and his grandchildren, Kristina George Dale (Glenn), Emily George (Lisa), Steven George, Maria Nasca Cowan (Buzz), Joshua Nasca, Robert Breckur III (Courtney Diehl) and Sara Breckur (Gavin Wakefield).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory (1595 W 38th St, Erie, PA 16508). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
