He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Marshall and Dora Coad Marshall; his children, James William Marshall and Gail Lynn Marshall; his granddaughter Ashley Marshall; and his brother Leo Marshall.
He is survived by: his wife Veronica "Roni" Samick; his son Douglas Marshall (Mary) of Rehoboth Beach, DE; his grandchildren, AJ and Alia Marshall; his sister Patricia Stoner (Gaynor) of Powell, OH; and his siblings-in-law, Beda Marshall of Georgia, Mary Ann Samick of St. Marys, Theresa "Tessie" Murphy (Bill) of Drexel Hill, PA and Francis "Sam" Samick (Sue) of Rochester, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
