He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Diehl and Margaret Diehl; his wife Harriet Diehl (Howells); and his brothers, Ronald "Butch" Diehl and Kenneth Diehl.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Studie (Chuck) of Park Hill, Joseph Denning (Barbara) of Freeland, PA and Sandy Dedushaj; his brother Robert Diehl of St. Clair; his grandchildren, Jaclyn, Ashley, Jeremy, BJ and Adam; his great grandchildren, Austin, Logan, Aaliyah, Mariah, Amelia and Lilah; and his great great grandchild James. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
