He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Updegrove (Gehman) and Thomas Updegrove, Sr.; his wife Helen M Updegrove (Griesemer); and his daughter Helen Updegrove. He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas Updegrove Jr., Ernest Updegrove (Butchy) and Shirley Moyer; and his daughters, Debra Grimsley (Robert Grimsley) of Minersville, Barbara Althouse (Michael Althouse Sr.) and Estella Satter (Thomas).
